BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

In 2006, Seraiah began his transition into Submission Grappling and Jiu Jitsu and has since became quite enamored with the art.

Being his strengths lie in his ground game, Submission were easily adaptable to his arsenal and awareness.

Jay Wymer began his rudimentary education showing him standard submissions such as Guillotine, Arm Bar, Americana, Kimuara along with Knee and Ankle Locks.

Since then Seraiah has had the great fortune study in Hilo, Hawaii at BJ Penn's Training Center under Black Belt Renato "Charuto" Varrissimo. And after creating an friendship with BJ and Renato the open invitation to come back and train stands and will be accepted when the time is right.

With good fortune he has been able to train with many brown and black belts from various school and has evolved greatly as a grappler over the years.

Testimonials
Brian Wood worked with me as a guest clinician at the Rulon Gardner Summer Camp Series. I invited Brian at the request of his reputation for providing a unique Eastern approach to the sport of wrestling. Brian taught solid fundamentals of wrestling. He combined philosophy with technique in a way that is unique in the sport of wrestling. Brian's approach taught some important lessons about how to approach the mental challenges that wrestlers face. He taught warm-up, stretching, and strength building exercises that are unique in the sport of wrestling, but are very specific to the sport. The exercises build core muscle strength and balance that wrestlers need and use. It was a privilege working with Brian and I would recommend Brian as a camp clinician. I plan to continue to work with Brian.
